Winter Wreath-Making Workshop Fundraiser
100% Proceeds to Iraqi & Syrian Refugees via Preemptive Love Coalition
Join us at our Crown Heights studio (893 Bergen St, Studio #3, btw Classon and Franklin Ave) for our first ever workshop benefit! Choose from two class times...
- Sunday, December 10th, 2pm-4pm
- Sunday, December 10th, 5pm-7pm
Learn how to create your own 12" winter wreath just perfect for your apartment door, using local greens, branches, berries, textural elements, mosses, dried flowers, grasses, rosehips, ribbon and more. We'll cover how to make a more traditional symmetrical wreath, as well as a more asymmetrical modern wreath, and let you decide what you'll create while sipping on warm wintry cider! Limited space, 8-10 students per class.
Here's how it works: we are donating all materials, space, tools, planning and teaching hours, refreshments and holiday cheer for two warm-spirited winter wreath workshops, and your full class sign up costs go 100% towards a beautiful cause. A minimum of $50 donation is required for class sign up, but any and all contributions are welcomed! Our goal is to raise $1500 to support Preemptive Love Coalition, an NPO that serves Iraqi and Syrian refugees fleeing war through emergency relief and job creation. If you are able to give more than the $50 sign up, we thank you for your willingness and generosity, and if you'd simply like to give a smaller gift without class registration, we thank you for your sacrifice and help!
